Similar to another drive with the same name... but this one does not sit vertically (the other has a groove and a stand that fits into it). idential spec's otherwise beyond a $5 price difference (the one that sits vertical is $5 more). No Stand. I have other ASUS external DVD-RWs and they came with a stand and there is a notch on the back of the DVD-RW drive to attach the stand to it. No Notch on this one. Other than the stand, I'm happy with it. It's not worth sending back. However, I'm not ordering any more. I'd suggest getting one at Fry's Electronics (Current cost $39 - $10 02/09/2012 - 02/29/2012 rebate = $29) - so far those come with a stand. It's a nice option to have. It's the reason I started buying these in the first place. One comment about the Fry's Rebate is that what you end up with is an American Express Gift Card/Credit Card for $10 - Not a check.
